Why this tour
A private wine tour is your day, run your way. Your own guide, your own vehicle and a route built around the estates you actually want to taste at — start later, stay longer at the one you love, skip the ones you don't.
We run private days across Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Constantia, Paarl and the Helderberg, from a relaxed half-day to a full circuit across two valleys. Tell us what you like to drink and how you like to travel; we'll do the planning, the bookings and the driving.
Best for couples, families and celebrations — anyone who'd rather set the agenda than follow one.

Your day. Your route. Your pace. The only fixed thing in it is the time we collect you.
What makes it special

A sample day
How the day unfolds
Timings shift with the season and the estates on the day — but the shape of it stays the same.
- 09:00
Pickup, your time
Your guide collects you from your hotel, villa or guesthouse — a later start is never a problem.
- 10:00
First estate, your choice
Straight to an estate you wanted to visit, or one we recommend for the wines you actually like to drink.
- 12:00
Second tasting
A different valley, a different style. Change your mind on the way — the route bends around you.
- 13:30
Long lunch
A vineyard lunch with no return time looming. Stay for coffee, or stay for another glass.
- 15:30
A last stop, or a viewpoint
One more cellar, a scenic detour, or an early finish — the day is yours to shape.
- 17:00
Back where you started
Dropped at your door with the rest of the evening free.
What it costs
Private days, priced per vehicle
A private day is charged for the guide and vehicle, not per head — so the price per person drops the more of you travel. Tasting fees and lunch are usually settled on the day unless your quote includes them.
