What group sizes can estate conference venues handle?

It varies. Some estates suit intimate board sessions of 8–20 delegates; others host conferences and year-end functions for 100+. Each venue page notes capacity; enquire with us and we'll match your delegate count to the right estate.

Do conference venues include catering and wine experiences?

Most estates offer on-site catering — from working lunches to plated dinners — and can add wine tastings, cellar tours or blending sessions as a memorable team activity. We'll build a package that fits your agenda and budget.

Can delegates stay overnight at the venue?

Where an estate offers accommodation, yes — turning a single-day conference into a relaxed multi-day off-site. Look for the on-site stay note on each venue page and ask us to combine meeting space with lodging.

About Hemel-en-Aarde

Hemel-en-Aarde, for your conference venue

The Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, set against the mountains near Hermanus, is one of the Cape's coolest wine regions — and one of its most prized. Here, ocean breezes and high rainfall create the perfect conditions for elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The valley is divided into three wards, each with its own microclimate, and is home to estates that have put South African cool-climate wine firmly on the world map. A scenic, unhurried day out, often combined with whale watching in season.
