The estate
Meerhof Wines is a scenic estate in the Riebeek Valley offering award-winning wines, a restaurant, and unique glamping experiences.
Swartland
Founded in 1751, Meerhof Wines and Cellar is situated on the Wynkeldershoek Estate in the Swartland region. The black "rhinoceros bush," a native plant, gives the Swartland region its name. It is a location with undulating wheat fields, vineyards, and plenty of indigenous species that have been preserved from the Cape. Vineyards are carefully tended, and yields are controlled to be under 8 tons per hectare.
