The family's dream of producing wine on the land became a reality in the late 1990s, when a stone cellar was built using rocks from the farm's rocky soils. In 1999, the first vintage was crushed, and the flagship R62 Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon blend was born. Aged for 14 months in Burgundy oak, this red blend marked the beginning of a boutique wine journey that continues today. With a current production of just under 3,000 cases per year, each bottle reflects the family's deep connection to the land and a commitment to low-intervention winemaking. The wines are elegant, expressive, and crafted to complement the vibrant local cuisine and relaxed Klein Karoo lifestyle.

The on-site R62 Deli Alfresco is a Mediterranean-style farm kitchen that celebrates the flavours of the region. Once a humble tin-roofed dwelling, it has been transformed into a warm and rustic eatery with an inviting fireplace and a vine-covered veranda overlooking the valley. Guests can enjoy Klein Karoo tapas platters that include fresh farm fruit like figs, plums, and peaches, paired with dishes such as rosemary and lemon chicken, bobotie with stewed fruit and almonds, patat with honey, and beetroot with feta. The deli also offers an array of homemade relishes, pestos, jams, and preserves, as well as decadent desserts like fig-topped French chocolate cake and delicate lemon-meringue cheesecake. Meals are enjoyed in true al fresco style when the weather permits, making it a relaxed and sensory-rich experience.

Wine tastings are offered in the original stone cellar, where visitors can sample the farm's handcrafted range in a relaxed and personal environment. Tastings are available by appointment only, ensuring each experience is thoughtfully hosted by someone who knows the wines intimately. The Deli Alfresco is reserved for private bookings, group functions, or special appointments, making each tasting visit feel exclusive and curated.
