Weddings at Brookdale Estate
Brookdale suits couples who want their wedding to feel like a private celebration on a country estate. Book the Manor House on exclusive use, and you have the whole setting to yourselves: the Cape Dutch reception rooms, the terraces and courtyards, the pool house, the gardens and an event lawn with views over the vineyards to the Drakenstein mountains.
Ceremony & Reception
Smaller gatherings can be held indoors, with up to 12 guests seated or 40 for cocktails. Larger weddings move outdoors onto the lawns and terraces for up to 60–80 guests, and a marquee can be arranged on request. Executive Chef Gary Coetzee’s kitchen caters on the estate, and the Brookdale and Mason Road wines are served at the table.
Stay Over
Weddings of more than 20 guests include a two-night stay in both the Manor House and The Owners’ Lodge. That gives the couple, family and bridal party a place to stay on the estate, from the rehearsal dinner through to the morning-after breakfast.
Intimate Celebrations
Brookdale also hosts vow renewals, engagements, milestone birthdays, anniversaries and other small occasions in the Manor House and gardens.

A secluded hilltop retreat overlooking vineyards and the Drakenstein mountains, the Owners’ Lodge offers four en-suite bedrooms for up to eight guests.
