The experience

About this tour

Ocean views, penguins and a wine tasting in South Africa's oldest wine valley, all in one day. Our Cape Peninsula private wine tour combines the highlights of the Cape Peninsula with a visit to a Constantia wine farm, with your own guide and vehicle from start to finish.

You'll take in Signal Hill and the Table Mountain Road, drive the famous Chapman's Peak Drive, stand at Cape Point and meet the penguins at Boulders Beach, before ending the day with a tasting in Constantia, where South African winemaking began in 1685. It's the perfect choice if you want to see the best of Cape Town and taste its wines without a long drive inland.

The Stops on Your Cape Peninsula Wine Tour

  • Signal Hill: A lookout over the city bowl, the harbour and the Atlantic coastline.
  • Table Mountain Road: Panoramic views over Cape Town from the slopes of Table Mountain.
  • Chapman's Peak Drive: One of the world's great coastal drives, carved into the cliffs above Hout Bay.
  • Cape Point: The dramatic southern tip of the Peninsula, with sweeping ocean views and a historic lighthouse.
  • Boulders Beach: Simon's Town's famous African penguin colony, seen up close from the boardwalks.
  • Constantia: A wine tasting at a Constantia wine farm, in South Africa's oldest wine-producing valley.
