Today, boasting approximately 100 hectares, the vineyards are predominantly planted with Mediterranean varietals on granitic soils. Older vines, including Sauvignon Blanc planted in 1983 and Chenin Blanc in 1986, have reached a perfect balance over the years, yielding some of Vondeling’s most prized fruit. With an average crop yield of six to eight tons per hectare, Vondeling prioritizes quality over quantity.
