The estate
Spier combines a 76-room hotel, four places to eat and a farm setting just outside Stellenbosch, making it easy to host conferences and team events in one place. Delegates can add Segway vineyard tours, guided walks or wine tastings. Contact Wine in the Cape to plan your event.
Wine has been made at Spier since 1692, and the farm's cellar is the oldest still in use in South Africa. Set along the Eerste River on the edge of Stellenbosch, Spier covers 650 hectares, much of it restored renosterveld and fynbos. More than 30 years of regenerative farming focused on soil health have made it one of the Cape's leading sustainable estates.

Wine
Spier makes a broad range of reds and whites, from Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay to Pinotage, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Tastings are held on the farm, and the tasting room menu and wine-by-the-glass list are available below.
Dining
There are four places to eat: Veld and the Garden Room at the Spier Hotel, Spier Manor, and Vadas Smokehouse & Bakery. Picnics can be enjoyed on the lawns in good weather.

The 76-room Spier Hotel sits along the Eerste River on a regenerative farm that has made wine since 1692.
