Nitida is a family-owned boutique wine estate in the Durbanville Wine Valley, celebrated for its award-winning Sauvignon Blanc and two popular on-site restaurants.
Durbanville
Nitida Wine Farm is a modest, family-run cellar that is regarded as one of the most prosperous small cellars in the country since it consistently produces wines that earn awards, including the “Top Producer” at the 2009 Michelangelo International Wine Awards. The Durbanville wine estate boasts two dining options — Cassia, which is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Tables at Nitida which is open for breakfast and lunch.
Wine
Handmade is more than simply a physical technique and attitude for Nitida Wines; it is about polishing the minor nuances along the way while treating each batch of juice with respect from the vine to Nitida wines. It is also about collaborating with nature to ensure that the wine reflects our approach and identity.

Cassia Restaurant will wine and dine you. Prepare to choose from the varied culinary specialities created by Cassia’s Chef and his staff for lunch or supper, or simply relax on the deck with family and friends. Tables at Nitida first opened its doors in November 2010 as a café and restaurant for the curious wine lover looking for a wine pairing. It has since evolved into a Family Bistro that has become a popular breakfast and lunch spot, serving breakfast dishes such as Brioche French toast with caramelized bananas, chopped walnuts, and streaky bacon, or for a quick lunch.

Wine Tasting
Indulge in a sensory journey through Nitida’s exquisite wines. The intimate tasting room, nestled within the barrel maturation cellar, provides a unique setting to explore and appreciate the rich flavours and aromas crafted by Nitida’s skilled winemakers.
- Nitida Classical Wine Tasting: R80 per person. Choose four wines within the Classical option, featuring single varietal, everyday drinking wines.
- Nitida Artisanal Wine Tasting: R100 per person. Choose four wines within the Artisanal option, which includes limited quantity, unusual, labor-intensive, or creative wines.
- Sauvignon Blanc Sensory Tasting: R140 per person. This pre-set selection showcases current Sauvignon Blanc wines, offering a sensory adventure.
