A boutique Wellington estate renowned for its 'Mega Reds' and artisanal approach, nestled at the foot of the Hawequa Mountains.
Mont du Toit Kelder, established in 1996 by Stephan du Toit, is a specialist red wine producer located on the granite-rich slopes of the Hawequa Mountains. The estate follows a traditional 'low-tech' philosophy, focusing on hand-selected grapes and minimal intervention to produce complex, elegant blends. Under the guidance of German oenologist Bernd Philippi, the winery has earned a reputation for powerful yet balanced wines, including their flagship Mont du Toit and Le Sommet ranges.
