Founded in 2001, MAN Family Wines is a value-driven South African producer known for its modern-style varietal wines sourced from the Agter-Paarl region.
Nestled along Stellenbosch’s famed Route 44, Lievland Vineyards became the home of MAN Family Wines in 2017. Co-founders José Conde and Tyrrel Myburgh had long sought the perfect estate to anchor their growing wine brand, and in Lievland, they found a “sleeping beauty” waiting to be restored. Once a renowned wine-producing estate, the farm had been dormant for over a decade, its vines overgrown and forgotten. With passion and dedication, the MAN team breathed new life into the vineyards, reviving Lievland’s legacy of world-class winemaking. Today, the estate continues its commitment to producing honest, sustainably grown wines that reflect the essence of the land.

Wine
At MAN Family Wines, great winemaking starts in the vineyard, not the cellar. The estate focuses on dry-farmed vineyards, a practice that encourages deep-rooted vines, concentrated flavours, and exceptional quality. The result is expressive, well-balanced wines that showcase the character of each varietal. Head winemaker Riaan Möller leads the team in crafting wines that are true to terroir, using minimal intervention to let the land speak through each bottle.
