The estate
On the Helshoogte Pass between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, Le Pommier pairs Banhoek country cooking with its own wines, a country lodge and mountain views from a former apple orchard.
Le Pommier takes its name from the apple orchards that once covered this corner of the Banhoek Valley. The estate sits on the Helshoogte Pass at the foot of the Simonsberg, on the main route between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

The range includes Sauvignon Blanc, a rosé, the Summercourt Chardonnay, Jonathan's Malbec, the Angle Peur Cabernet Franc, a red blend called Mac, and the Banghoek Nectar dessert wine. Tastings run daily from 11:00 to 17:30.
Dining
Le Pommier Restaurant serves Banghoek country cuisine with views of the mountains, from breakfast through to dinner. It is open daily from 08:00 until 23:00 Monday to Saturday and 18:00 on Sundays.
