Journey's End is a family-owned, boutique winery nestled in the foothills of the Schapenberg in Somerset West, dedicated to sustainable and ethical winemaking.
Journey's End Wines is a family-owned estate nestled in the Schapenberg Hills of Stellenbosch, with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and rugged Helderberg mountains. Purchased by the Gabb family in 1995, the estate has undergone an extensive transformation over nearly three decades. Today, it is known for its beautiful setting, sustainable practices, and award-winning wines. The decomposed granite soils of the region, combined with the cooling Cape Doctor wind from False Bay, create the perfect environment for cultivating premium grapes. At Journey's End, the philosophy is simple: produce excellent wine and be a force for good.

Journey's End produces several acclaimed ranges, each with a distinct identity. The Precision Series is their premium range, expressing the depth and character of Stellenbosch terroir through wines like the Griffin Syrah and Cape Doctor Bordeaux blend. The V Series is a varietal showcase featuring the finest single cultivars, while the Tales Range offers approachable wines with unique stories behind each bottle. With a winemaking style that blends innovation with restraint, and techniques such as carbonic maceration, amphora fermentation, and minimal intervention, the wines are crafted to reflect place, people, and purpose.

Although the estate does not currently feature a restaurant, the wine tastings are often accompanied by curated food pairings or enjoyed in partnership with nearby restaurants in the Helderberg region.
