Hartenberg Estate is a historic Stellenbosch wine farm celebrated for its regenerative viticulture, award-winning Shiraz, and scenic farm-to-table dining.
In a free-draining valley within the influential Bottelary Hills north of Stellenbosch, Hartenberg Estate stands at the forefront of South Africa's new wave of winemaking. Since 1986, the estate has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving into producing some of the most sought-after wines in the Stellenbosch region.

Hartenberg Estate is renowned for its captivating red wines, particularly Shiraz, but their Chardonnays have also garnered increasing acclaim. All wines are meticulously crafted, bottled, and packaged on the estate, ensuring the highest quality standards. The impressive underground cellar, the largest privately owned cellar in South Africa, provides the ideal environment for ageing wines to perfection before release.

Hartenberg isn't just a haven for wine lovers; it's also a culinary destination. Their on-site restaurant offers a delightful lunch experience from Wednesday to Sunday, showcasing fresh, seasonal produce against the backdrop of the picturesque Cape Winelands.
