Groenland Wines is a prestigious family-owned wine farm nestled in the enchanting Bottelary district, just on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, South Africa. With a rich heritage spanning four generations, the Steenkamp family has been at the helm of Groenland, producing top-quality red and white wines for an impressive 90 years.
One of their standout offerings is the Steenkamp Ou Bosstok Steen 2022, the latest addition to their flagship range. This wine is crafted from grapes handpicked from a bush vine block that was planted on Groenland's picturesque slopes in 1981. The meticulous attention to detail in cultivation results in a production yield averaging between 3.5 and 4 tons per hectare, ensuring the utmost quality.

Their "Landskap" range, meaning "Landscape," pays homage to the stunning surroundings and the commitment of the Steenkamp family. The Groenland estate has been under the ownership of the Steenkamp family for four generations, and they have built a renowned name for crafting exceptional red and white wines in the fertile Bottelary region, located close to Stellenbosch. The estate has particularly excelled in the production of intricate varietal wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, and a special blend known as Antoinette Marie, positioning them as leaders in the realm of premium red wine production. The ageing process occurs within American and French oak barrels. Their wine collection also features their iconic Steenkamp label, alongside the very affordable Landskap range.
