The estate
Great Heart Wines is a social empowerment project owned and run by the employees of Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines, producing terroir-driven wines from across the Western Cape.
Established in 2020, Great Heart Wines is a unique empowerment initiative where the winery is 100% owned and operated by the staff of Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines. Under the mentorship of Chris and Andrea Mullineux, the project produces high-quality, terroir-focused wines from sites across the Western Cape, including Stellenbosch, Swartland, and Ceres. Visitors can experience these handcrafted wines at their intimate boutique tasting space located at Le Quartier Français in the heart of Franschhoek.
