Fairview Wine & Cheese

Since the inaugural Fairview Winery bottling in 1974, this classic collection of single variety bottlings has been steadily developing, while always seeking to reflect their historic qualities while also leaving room to explore modern fascinations. The winery has organically evolved to incorporate a growing white wine variety of farm favourites such as Chenin Blanc and Viognier by keeping traditional reds at the core of their range such as Shiraz and Pinotage. The Fairview Wine collection routinely outperforms in terms of quality, offering exceptional value and well-balanced drinkability.

Fairview has worked hard over the last 18 years to perfect its menu of delectable farm-style comfort food, an award-winning variety of artisanal cheeses, and an enticing selection of superb wines. Everything they do here is based on the belief that fresh and homemade is always better. Fairview strives to bring the paddock and farm as near to the table as possible, cooking recipes from scratch and utilizing as much of the food as possible with as little waste as possible.

Wine Tasting

Fairview Winery is renowned for its exceptional wines. Visitors can indulge in wine-tasting sessions to savour a variety of wines, including reds, whites, and even unique blends. Don't miss their world-famous goat-themed wines.

Wine Pairing

Pair your wine tasting with a selection of Fairview's award-winning cheeses. They offer a wide range of cow's milk and goat's milk cheeses that complement the wines perfectly.

Farm Tours

Visitors can join Farmer Donald on his recently curated farm tours, designed to offer an educational Fairview experience. The Goat Tour provides insights into Fairview's renowned goat herd and offers an insider's perspective on the daily operations of the goat farm. Participants can choose between a snack pack option, ideal for younger attendees, or a cheese tasting following the tour.

Alternatively, there's the guided Mountain Walk, a picturesque 5km trail on Paarl Mountain, led by Farmer Donald. After the hike, participants can enjoy an informal Standard Wine and cheese tasting at the Fairview Tasting Room.
