The estate
In the Devon Valley just outside Stellenbosch, Brenaissance is a working wine and cattle farm, home to one of the world's largest Boran studs, with modern farm stays, a wedding chapel and event venues.
Nestled within the enchanting Devon Valley, just a short distance from Stellenbosch in the Western Cape, Brenaissance Wine & Stud Estate is a haven for new beginnings. This serene and evergreen estate, rooted in winemaking and cattle farming traditions, offers modern farm accommodation, stunning venues, and a chapel.
Wine
At Brenaissance, the philosophy is that great wine begins in the vineyard. Focusing on cultivating the finest fruit from their terroir, Brenaissance collaborates with renowned wineries in the Stellenbosch region to craft exceptional wines. The estate's commitment lies in producing wines rich in colour and intense in flavour, displaying individual character, and achieving a smooth and well-balanced profile. Through a dedication to specialisation and diversification, Brenaissance has formed a team of passionate specialists overseeing a unique and comprehensive range of wines.
Dining
Seasons Restaurant opens on the farm in November 2026, led by chef Jacques Grove, whose career includes La Colombe, The Shortmarket Club and The Ledbury in London. The farm-to-table menu is built around the estate’s own Boran beef, garden produce and eggs, served with Brenaissance wines. Breakfast and lunch will run from Wednesday to Sunday, with dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. Riverside picnics follow from January 2027, and families will find a play area and a children’s menu.
