Nestled in the heart of the Helderberg Valley, Annandale Wine Estate is a testament to centuries of winemaking tradition. Established in 1688 by Jan Wismaar, the farm has over three centuries of rich history. Today, Hempies Du Toit, a fifth-generation winemaker, continues the legacy of excellence, crafting premium red wines that capture the essence of the Stellenbosch terroir.

With a heritage spanning over 315 years, Annandale Wine Estate is renowned for its dedication to producing exceptional red wines. Spanning 45 hectares of meticulously tended vineyards, the estate exclusively cultivates red grape varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Under Hempies' expert guidance, the vines yield low yields of the highest quality grapes, hand-selected during harvesting to ensure unparalleled quality. From vine to bottle, the winemaking process adheres to the finest traditions, resulting in wines that reflect the terroir and craftsmanship of Annandale Estate.
