Meeting Venues
Spier has four meeting spaces, each with uncapped Wi-Fi, AV support and back-up power. The restored Manor House is an exclusive-use venue for 6 to 24 guests, with two meeting rooms, a drawing room and a shaded courtyard. The Riverhouse, filled with more than 400 artworks from Spier's Creative Block programme, seats 16 to 30 beside the Eerste River, with an observatory for breakaways. The Riverhouse Studio seats up to 12 at a single long table with a lounge and vine-covered terrace, and the Yellowwood Lounge, beside the historic Old Wine Cellar, takes 20 to 40 in schoolroom, U-shape or herringbone layouts.
Food for Meetings
Menus follow the seasons, and much of the produce comes from the Spier Food Garden. Meeting packages include lunch, from platters to a fully catered meal at the Manor House, with upgrades to a picnic on the Werf or a seated lunch at Vadas Smokehouse & Bakery. Spier is not halaal or kosher certified, but halaal catering can be brought in and vegetarian options are always available.
Team Building & Activities
Teams can swap the boardroom for a walking meeting among the proteas, a wine tasting or blending competition, a sensorial tasting, a hosted art tour, a Segway ride through the vineyards and regenerative farm, or an afternoon harvesting in the Food Garden.
