La Motte offers small conferences and group days in the Franschhoek Valley, on one of the Cape’s oldest wine estates. There are two venues, and Brookdale-style catering from the estate’s own bakery and kitchen means the whole day happens on the farm.
The Parshuis
The Parshuis sits inside La Motte’s historic red-wine cellar and takes up to 100 guests, depending on the layout. It also has a reception and lounge area for welcome drinks and breaks.
The Syrah Studio
The Syrah Studio is a private room in the tasting room, with one long table for up to 20 people. It has a smart TV, an HD camera for video calls and Wi-Fi, so it works well for board meetings and strategy sessions.
After the Meeting
Delegates get a complimentary wine tasting until 17:00, so the day can finish in the cellar.
Celebrations
The Parshuis also hosts birthdays, bridal and baby showers, and other private celebrations for 20 to 80 guests. Catering is finger food or a generous harvest table with bread from the bakery, cured meats and cheeses.
