Most do. You'll often marry among the vines or in a garden, then move to a cellar or banqueting hall for the reception — all on one estate, so no guest travel in between.

Is on-site accommodation available for wedding guests?

Many estates offer suites and cottages for the wedding party and overnight guests. Where they don't, we'll arrange nearby stays and keep the whole party close.

Can you help plan wine experiences around the wedding?

Absolutely — welcome tastings, vineyard tours and post-wedding brunches are a beautiful way to extend the celebration. Tell us your plans and we'll weave them in.

A wedding at Plettenvale Wine Estate

A family-owned Plettenberg Bay farm whose first 2011 harvest yielded just 630 bottles. Now with its own winery and cellar, it crafts an award-winning brut rosé MCC, dry rosé, unwooded chardonnay and an easy-drinking syrah, with personalised winery tours before each tasting.
