Established in 2010 by David Curl on Habibi Farm, Moya Meaker is situated in the high-altitude Elgin Valley, a region renowned for its ancient Bokkeveld shale soils and cool maritime climate. The estate features a custom-built cellar facility designed to produce premium, small-batch wines under the guidance of winemaker Jean Smit. The brand honors the legacy of Moya Meaker, a former Miss South Africa, by focusing on meticulous craftsmanship and sustainable, terroir-driven viticulture. The estate offers intimate wine tastings by appointment.

Tasting details
The cellar uses conical concrete tanks made from Alpine-sourced sand and pebbles, plus Stockinger foudres made from Austrian and German oak. It specialises in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, showcasing precision, balance and a strong sense of place. Appointment-only tastings are available to guests purchasing two or more cases, with private cellar visits and curated tastings that may include vertical selections, set in the Elgin Valley.
