Nestled in the Paradyskloof Valley, Vriesenhof Wine Estate has been a cornerstone of Stellenbosch winemaking for over 43 years. A true traditional wine farm, Vriesenhof reflects old-world charm through its Cape Dutch architecture, sprawling vineyards, and deep respect for nature. The estate was founded by Jan Coetzee, a visionary winemaker who set the foundation for the farm’s legacy of excellence.

With a unique terroir shaped by the cooling Atlantic Ocean breeze, rich decomposed granite and shale soils, and naturally draining clay beds, Vriesenhof’s vineyards yield wines that capture the distinct character of each vintage. The red selection showcases smooth, expressive Cabernet Sauvignon, alongside robust Bordeaux-style blends perfect for winter nights by the fire.
