About Under Oaks Estate

Under Oaks stands as a well-established family-owned wine estate, gracefully situated in the idyllic Cape Winelands town of Paarl. Within this charming estate, they meticulously craft boutique wines and extend warm hospitality to their guests through a welcoming tasting room, opulent guest accommodation, and a beloved pizzeria.

This estate holds the rich legacy of a working farm deeply intertwined with the historical tapestry of South Africa, its roots tracing back to the year 1695. Under Oaks embarked on its winemaking journey with the inaugural vintage in 2001, marking the beginning of a fine winemaking tradition. In 2014, the historic cellar underwent a thoughtful renovation, preserving its heritage while embracing modernity.

Wine

Under Oaks boasts an annual wine production of approximately 30,000 bottles, featuring a diverse portfolio that includes their flagship wine, Sauvignon Blanc, along with Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and their newly introduced Rosé. Under Oaks takes pride in the artistry of its finely crafted wines, which are exclusively available for purchase at the estate.
