Klein Constantia dates back to 1685 and has been described as one of the world’s most beautiful wine estates. It is set amidst ancient trees on the upper foothills of the Constantiaberg, with views across False Bay. Klein Constantia, the ideal location for cool climate wines, produces some of South Africa’s best wines, including one of the world’s best natural sweet wines, Vin de Constance.

The vineyards receive gentle breezes from the nearby ocean, helping to moderate temperatures and create ideal conditions for grape cultivation. Their food emphasizes a ‘farm to table & head to toe’ theme, focusing on fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. A range of Klein Constantia wines, as well as some wonderful older and rarer vintages from their wine library, complement the rural bistro style fare. Crafted cheese plates are available from mid-afternoon and can be paired with the day’s Vin de Constance vintage.
