Set on 60 hectares of pristine land at the foot of the majestic Simonsberg, Baccō Estate is a refined tribute to the spirit of Tuscany in the heart of the Cape Winelands of South Africa. Born from a dream to create the “holy grail” of premium wine, this Super Tuscan-inspired estate blends Italian romance with the rich viticultural heritage of Paarl. Italian cypresses line the vineyard blocks, gently swaying in the Cape breeze, while Bordeaux varietals meet Sangiovese in a harmonious expression of place.

Directly across from Santé Wellness Retreat and just a stone’s throw from the Vilafonté vineyards, Baccō is perfectly positioned within one of the most prestigious pockets of the Winelands. Life at Baccō unfolds in a slow, intentional rhythm — guided by the seasons, rooted in nature, and inspired by artistry. Baccō Estate specialises in Bordeaux varietals complemented by Sangiovese, crafting elegant single cultivars and expressive blends in true Super Tuscan style. Under the expert supervision of internationally renowned vine specialists Simonit & Sirch, the vineyards benefit from world-class research into vine health and structure. Through meticulous pruning, suckering, and canopy management, each vine is nurtured to produce fruit of exceptional balance and depth. The result is a collection of refined, structured wines — generous, layered, and crafted to engage all the senses. These are wines that reflect patience, precision, and a deep respect for terroir.
