Babylonstoren is a renowned wine farm that cultivates exceptional wines in harmony with the natural surroundings of its estate. With about 94 hectares (232 acres) of vineyards, the farm produces 13 different grape varieties, including pinot noir and chardonnay, which grow in the highest vines against Simonsberg, at around 600 metres above sea level.
The cellar master, Charl Coetzee, and the winemaker, Klaas Stoffberg, lead the farm’s wine production. The first bottling of wine under the Babylonstoren label took place after the 2011 harvest.
